Philippines - Voting 2019
"This year's election is unbelievable!
This is the first time that most of the candidates I have voted
were getting their slots. I am amazed at everything that happened yesterday."
The plan is to accompany my husband to his voting precinct because he needs to report for work afterward. But it didn't happen. He went by himself and I was left at home to cook our breakfast and eventually stay until my youngest brother goes home so we will just go together in the same voting precinct we were assigned.
And so, hours went by, my husband went back and successfully voted his 12 candidates and reported back to his duty.
My kids and I stayed at home with my brother's girlfriend. We are scrolling on our phones to look for some updates from Facebook on how heavy was the situation at each precinct featured on social media platforms and news. When I saw the huge number of people in line waiting for their turn and some looking for their rooms,
I decided to vote later part of the day as what I have planned originally.
Reasons, I can save P60 back and forth fare can save time, that I can sit my kids while waiting for my brother and we can eat on time instead of waiting in long lines while the sun is up high at 33'C temperatue with 70% humidity and just having 23 km/h wind.
Just to give everyone the idea of my Senatorial Candidates' list, check them below:

Party List: #148 Aangat Tayo
This is best election experience I've ever had. Rooms were not congested when I arrived. The place was very clean and we didn't have a hard time findng our assigned rooms. We were able to go home after about 15-25 minutes voting including our travel from home-school-home.
Why I voted those personalities?
I may never be knowlegeable enough about what is happening in our country, may never be as intelligent like those who follow the do's and where about of the senators and leaders of our nation, but one thing I know,
My vote is important!
We need change!
And if we are not ready for a change, then we will be used by the same monsters who then took almost everything from the all of us Filipinos.
What's wrong to these new ones? None.
Like the veteran senatorial candidates and the likes, they started as new, so let's give these people their chance to prove themselves and help our country rise along with the leading president.
There were lots of commercial from Otso Deretso yet no one got a slot!
And BINGO!, it only means that Filipinos nowadays were thinking very much of their future and their families not only for themselves.
All the lies we've had from the previous administration were very frustrating and we don't want that same routine again!
The Partylist that I have voted was my party list ever since.
The representative is also my batchmate in Adventist University of the Philippines Academy way back in my academy days in Silang Cavite.
Sadly, the election this year still have flaws. Some candidates name were never showing on the receipts were they were voted. This was just being ignored by the
COMMELEC and that's just very unprofessional and disappointing!
How in the world you vote for number one but the receipt prints number 2 was voted!? Crap!
Hope that this day ends with fair and justice counting of votes.
Not so peaceful election cause before the election date many died and we know it is part of their games.
Peace everyone!
